Sanjaya Ganlath

School: St. Benedict’s College

2001 : He was awarded “The Best Offensive player” at the Mini Basketball Carnival held at “OTTERS” and the Chief Guest were Mr. & Mrs. Mahinda Rajapaksa.

2005 : Captained the under 13 Basketball Team of St. Benedict’s and emerged the Colombo North Zonal “1st Runner Up” and all island “1st Runner Up”. Played for the under 19 team which emerged “1stRunner Up” at the “WEBER CUP TOURNAMENT” in Batticalo.

2008 : Was a key player of the under 17 team which emerged the all island “1st Runner Up” and was a player of the “National Development Team” which toured to Thailand in December and became the “Champions” at the tournament.

2009 : Played for the under 17 team in school, which became the “Zonal 1st Runner Up” and the “All Island Champions” and was adjudged the “Best Offensive Player” of the tournament. And was also selected for the under 17 national pool.

2005 : Played for the under 13 Basketball Team which emerged the “Colombo North Zonal Champions”.

2008 : Took part in the LASSALIAN JUNIOR BASKETBALL Team and became and became the “2nd Runner Up” for the St. Benedict’s College.

Played for the under 15 all island “B” Division Basketball Tournament and was awarded as “the Best Offensive Player” at the finals with Trinity College, Kandy.

2009 : Played for the under 17 team at the “All Island “A Division” Tournament” which emerged the “All Island Champioons” and the “Colombo North Zonal Runners Up”.
